Fund raising and Charity.

This year the school has supported many national charities. We have held events throughout the year raising money for these charities.



Ramadan Charity Fundraising


This year we will be raising funds during Ramadan for the Baby Beat appeal at Royal Preston Hospital. The fundraising will take place during the week beginning 3rd June. There will be two members of the Baby Beat Charity coming to school to deliver assemblies on Tuesday 5th June to launch the week. During Sports Relief Week every child in school ran/walked/skipped or hopped a mile during their PE sessions.

On the Friday of this week we had a non-uniform day and as a school we raised £472.57.



As part of our fund raising this year we have been fund raising with Buddy by completing a sponsored event. The Infant children completed a dancethon and the Junior children took part in a circuit training session.

As a school we raised £1,768.30 for this charity.



To support BBC Children in Need appeal we held a non uniform day on Friday 17th November 2017. Staff and pupils dressed in their favourite colour for the day.

As a school we raised a total of £467.67 for this charity.

To support the Royal British Legion we have been selling poppies wthin school and held a whole school Remembrance Day on Friday 10th November.


Summer Eid Fayre


On 12th July we held our annual summer fayre. We have received overwhelming support from local businesses. This year we have been supported by the following local businesses.
