At Deepdale Community Primary School, we recognise that positive mental health and wellbeing are just as important as physical health. We are committed to creating a caring, supportive environment where children feel safe, valued and able to talk about their thoughts, feelings and worries.
Through our curriculum, pastoral support and strong relationships with families, we help children develop resilience, confidence and strategies to manage life's challenges. If you have concerns about your child's emotional wellbeing, our pastoral team is here to help and can provide guidance and access to further support where needed.
Families may also find advice and resources through organisations such as the NSPCC, YoungMinds, Childline and the NHS Every Mind Matters website, all of which offer practical support for children, young people and parents.
Childline offer a 1:1 online counsellor chat where children can talk safely about what is worrying them here.
Together, we can ensure that every child has the support they need to thrive both in school and beyond.
